1. What Instatherapy is
Instatherapy is a search and availability tool for healthcare practitioners, including physiotherapists, dentists, optometrists, naturopaths and others, across British Columbia. Instatherapy is a directory, not a medical provider, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment of any kind.
Instatherapy is also not a booking intermediary. We do not schedule, confirm, modify or cancel appointments. Any appointment you make after using the Service is made directly between you and the clinic or practitioner, by phone or through their own booking system, and Instatherapy is not a party to that arrangement.
2. No medical advice
Nothing on the Service is or should be treated as medical advice. Always consult a qualified practitioner for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and seek emergency care immediately if you have a medical emergency; Instatherapy is not a substitute for emergency services.
3. Clinic and practitioner listings
Clinic and practitioner information, including availability status, is provided by the listed clinics themselves. While we take reasonable steps to keep listings current, including automatically downgrading availability that has not been refreshed recently, we do not guarantee that any listing, including hours, services, coverage, or availability, is accurate or current at the time you view it. Confirm details directly with the clinic before relying on them.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to scrape, copy or republish listings at scale without our permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure
- Submit false or misleading clinic or practitioner information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system
5. Clinic accounts
Clinics that create an account to manage a listing are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit, for keeping their login credentials secure, and for any activity under their account. Clinic listing fees, billing terms and cancellation are described at the time of signup and on our pricing page.
6. Intellectual property
The Instatherapy name, logo, and the design and code of the Service are owned by Instatherapy or its licensors. Clinic and practitioner content remains owned by the party that submitted it, who grants us a license to display it as part of the Service.
7. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party websites, such as a clinic's own booking page. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listing information is accurate or current.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Instatherapy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from any appointment, treatment, or interaction with a clinic or practitioner found through it.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
